MATTEO TOTTA ARCHITETTO

Bistro Siena

A narrow and long space needed an element to attract the customers and to invite them to follow the linear development of the restaurant. For this reason the front cladding of the bar counter is made with an alternation of two types of Cleaf surfaces, inclined at 45 degrees. A sequence of light and dark colors with Sablè LR23 and Poro Noce LS42 recalls the historical buildings in Siena, such as the interior of the Siena Cathedral. A visual dinamism captures the customers' attention and prepares them for the Italian gastronomic experience.

The Poro Noce texture reproduces the wood of walnut, a tree considered a symbol of fertility. The pores are spread in a diffuse way and are easily recognizable to the naked eye.
